  • I think seyb is a undervalued stock for the moment. And as i know ceylinco group is recovering after golden key crisis.comparing to their balance sheet rs.47 is undervalued for me.

  • kishan no one can tell what's wrong with accountants...they live in their own world. But TWOD won in the appeals court.....anyone (you, me, accounting standards board) can go to the supreme court to overturn an appeals court order. so you can't blame the accounting board for going to the supreme court, the market should take a longer term view. If TWOD wins in the supreme court then investors who hold on will be rewarded, if TWOD losses then...that's what happens when you buy speculative shares (some may disagree since TWOD has some trees).
aattanayake TWOD has an accounting issue (read the 2008 annual report for more info), they won the case against the accounting standards board in the appeal court but today the accounting standards board said that they will take the case to the supreme court......

  • Yeah innam i agree with u.
it is obvious i am looking at this issue one sided since im holding the share.
what SLASB is doing may be correct since we can believe they act on public interest,to safe gaurd the accounting policies and may be the stakeholders.Even i went through this accounting standard and i dont find any thing worng with TWOD revenue.but this is not a professional view.

And the court order also given in favour of TWOD which also in favour of public interest.the court always issue orders in favour of public.

My point is - a risk avoiding investor may say its good a lesson for speculators who trades on high risk stocks.every conpany has its value, and in any market speculate trading do the major role.check in any market eg: currency, deravative mkt, DOW jones , NASDAQ
its simply they provide liquidity to the mkt.there could be manipulation if mkt is small and not efficient. but imagine in if everyone investing in mkt you would hardly find a stock price any most of the stock broking firms may hav 2 close.

What i say SLASB is a 3rd party to the market.By intervening to a liquid stock on and on even after a decision given, might not give the correct price about the stock.TWOD had been going through this previously too.now we hav to think SLASB is making this stock highly volatile.
